Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Stano Szabo got the match started through his kick off. FC Dukla Rangers's Richard Dzurík played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ján Garaj in the 3rd minute of play. The supporters of FC Dukla Rangers booed when FC Barcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tibor Šmajda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Richard Cuper stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stano Szabo's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Tomáš Némethy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Cuper having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Stano Szabo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Richard Cuper. Stano Szabo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stano Szabo in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Richard Cuper saved FC Barcelona from getting behind. Tomáš Némethy scored 2-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Richard Cuper, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ľubomír Rástocký kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The supporters of FC Dukla Rangers booed when FC Barcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jozef Vrábel didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Stano Szabo came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the FC Dukla Rangers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stano Szabo couldn't finish the play. FC Barcelona's Richard Cuper proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save FC Barcelona from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Barcelona's goalkeeper Richard Cuper, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Stano Szabo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 35 minutes, Tomáš Némethy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Dukla Rangers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomáš Némethy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stano Szabo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Richard Cuper when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 42 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Milan Pištovič came free, but Richard Cuper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stano Szabo in the 43rd minute of play forced FC Barcelona's goalkeeper Richard Cuper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Stano Szabo could shoot a difficult shot in the 44th minute, which Richard Cuper however easily saved by the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Richard Cuper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stano Szabo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tomáš Némethy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When FC Dukla Rangers's Stano Szabo in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Richard Cuper came out of the goal and Tomáš Némethy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stano Szabo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stano Szabo in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Richard Cuper saved FC Barcelona from getting behind. If Stano Szabo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Krajčík came free, but Richard Cuper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stano Szabo in the 78th minute of play forced FC Barcelona's goalkeeper Richard Cuper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute Ján Garaj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Dzurík saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stano Szabo in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Richard Cuper prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ľubomír Rástocký's late challenge caught a FC Dukla Rangers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ľubomír Rástocký helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Barcelona getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Ľubomír Rástocký hit a great ball. Tomáš Némethy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When FC Dukla Rangers's Stano Szabo in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Barcelona's goalie prevented a goal. In the 92nd minute, Ľubomír Rástocký hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that FC Dukla Rangers were the better team. FC Dukla Rangers's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
