Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gregor Kohútik kicked off to start the match. Miroslav Čontofalský kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Marek Ľupták was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bohuš Zelenka showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miroslav Čontofalský in the 9th minute of play forced Janov's goalkeeper Alojz Malinovský to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miroslav Čontofalský fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alojz Malinovský having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Meliata's goal looked a bit too open when Bohuš Zelenka came free, but Marek Ľupták reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miroslav Čontofalský sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alojz Malinovský stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gregor Kohútik's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Meliata's goal looked a bit too open when Bohuš Zelenka came free, but Marek Ľupták reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Janov's zone, Gregor Kohútik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alojz Malinovský came out of the goal and Gregor Kohútik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miroslav Čontofalský recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rdth minute of the game Gregor Kohútik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Janov's Alojz Malinovský was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Meliata's Miroslav Čontofalský got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bohuš Zelenka to make the kick off. Tibor Čekan hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Janov's Jozef Malík got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, Miroslav Čontofalský had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alojz Malinovský. Janov's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miroslav Čontofalský was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When Bohuš Zelenka came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Janov fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bohuš Zelenka couldn't finish the play. Marcel Šimon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marek Ľupták. Meliata's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marek Ľupták stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jozef Malík's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Alojz Malinovský showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregor Kohútik, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. With a little luck, Janov's Alojz Malinovský got control of the ball when Miroslav Čontofalský tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Janov had won after a very even match.
