In the 5th minute of the match Viktor Krajíček sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Martin Driensky skillfully saved the ball. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bojnice's goalkeeper Martin Driensky, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ján Demčák who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Marek Rottmaier when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dezider Ševčík in the 11th minute of play forced Bojnice's goalkeeper Martin Driensky to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bojnice's goalkeeper Martin Driensky, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Stanislav Zobor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dezider Ševčík in the 16th minute of play forced Bojnice's goalkeeper Martin Driensky to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marek Rottmaier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Konkoly in the 25th minute of play. Stanislav Zobor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Martin Driensky tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Bojnice's goal looked a bit too open when Stanislav Zobor came free, but Martin Driensky reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Konkoly in the 32nd minute of play forced Povoda's goalkeeper Marek Rottmaier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stanislav Zobor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Driensky having to interfere. Martin Driensky showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dezider Ševčík in the 36th minute of the match. Marek Rottmaier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Konkoly, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute, Ján Demčák made a precise shot to the right of Marek Rottmaier. Povoda's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Martin Driensky took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dezider Ševčík, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stanislav Zobor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Driensky having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Matúš Nickler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Viktor Radivojevič during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 66 played minutes Bojnice got a freekick which was hit by Viktor Radivojevič. Dezider Ševčík sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dezider Ševčík received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Martin Driensky tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Bojnice's Martin Driensky got control of the ball when Stanislav Zobor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Povoda's Marek Rottmaier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ján Demčák in the 74th minute of play. Stanislav Zobor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Martin Driensky having to make a save. Dezider Ševčík struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Martin Driensky didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Povoda. Bojnice's Martin Driensky played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dezider Ševčík in the 90th minute of play. Stanislav Zobor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dezider Ševčík fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Driensky having to interfere. Ján Demčák received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Marek Rottmaier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Many of Povoda's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Povoda may have spent more time on the ball, but Bojnice were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
