Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Podhorský took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Necpaly FC booed when FC Budmerice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ján Smrečko didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 4 minutes, Marián Gondoľ mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Necpaly FC and the FC Budmerice players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pavol Podhorský made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gică Negrescu in the 6th minute of play. Pavol Podhorský showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gică Negrescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 12 minutes into the game, FC Budmerice's Gică Negrescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pavol Podhorský made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matej Lipovský during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gică Negrescu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 17th minute. FC Budmerice's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Necpaly FC's Pavol Podhorský played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matej Lipovský in the 18th minute of play. If Karol Sekeráš had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Necpaly FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karol Sekeráš came free, but Pavol Podhorský reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gică Negrescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Budmerice's Gică Negrescu got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Róbert Trišč struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Jozef Špilár didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Necpaly FC. 42 minutes into the match, Necpaly FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gică Negrescu came free, but Pavol Podhorský reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matej Lipovský sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matej Lipovský might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pavol Podhorský. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matej Lipovský ran back to his position shaking his head. Michal Pančík hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gică Negrescu made a kick off. Gică Negrescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavol Podhorský having to interfere. Pavol Podhorský showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gică Negrescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 62nd match minute, Necpaly FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Róbert Trišč to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute Gică Negrescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavol Podhorský saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Gică Negrescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 72ndth minute of the game Gică Negrescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Necpaly FC's Pavol Podhorský was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Karol Sekeráš notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Necpaly FC's Pavol Podhorský. Pavol Podhorský was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jozef Špilár made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Róbert Trišč sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, FC Budmerice's Jozef Špilár got control of the ball when Róbert Trišč tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Necpaly FC defense, Matej Lipovský kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pavol Podhorský. The Necpaly FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pavol Podhorský should have stopped the shot. FC Budmerice made a substitution. Vladislav Rataj replaced Gică Negrescu. If Daniel Podhorský had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC Budmerice's Vladislav Rataj got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Karol Sekeráš fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavol Podhorský having to interfere. Róbert Trišč recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matej Lipovský kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Róbert Trišč was extremely unlucky when he, in the 96th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When the referee ended the match the FC Budmerice players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
