Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Zombor's Peter Húska started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Peter Húska had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filip Hossa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dušan Koval in the 13th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tibor Regecký during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th minute, Tibor Regecký hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Dušan Koval managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dulovo FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Dušan Koval was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filip Hossa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dulovo FK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Stanislav Ňahaj was slow to take the kick. During this time Zombor's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Zombor's corner Stanislav Ňahaj fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gabriel Almann quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Dulovo FK getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Richard Pápež hit a great ball. If Tibor Bagin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Dulovo FK's Miroslav Kohn got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Gabriel Almann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tibor Bagin went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Peter Húska fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Almann having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Knapp during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 39 played minutes Dulovo FK got a freekick which was hit by Martin Knapp. When Zombor's Peter Húska in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dulovo FK's goalie prevented a goal. Dulovo FK's Gabriel Almann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tibor Bagin in the 43rd minute of play. If Peter Húska had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Peter Húska managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zombor's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Húska was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Almann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Martin Gajarský made the kick off in the second half. Gabriel Almann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Húska in the 53rd minute of play. Peter Húska recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zombor's Tibor Bagin managed to work through Dulovo FK's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Tibor Bagin dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. A collision led to Dulovo FK getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Jozef Rožman hit a great ball. Tibor Bagin struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Gabriel Almann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zombor. The Zombor fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Zombor's Peter Húska looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tibor Bagin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Almann having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Peter Húska's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Almann was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Tibor Bagins short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Gabriel Almann to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gabriel Almann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tibor Bagin in the 92nd minute. When Erik Vančo fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dulovo FK's protests and gave Erik Vančo a yellow card for diving instead. When the match was over Zombor could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dulovo FK throughout the match.
