Aurel Papp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marek Ondáš made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurel Papp in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurel Papp in the 12th minute of play forced Jablonka FC's goalkeeper Marek Ondáš to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Budkovce's Aurel Papp got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Budkovce's goalkeeper Marián Vendel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Miroslav Koniarek kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Jablonka FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karol Sakáč came free, but Marek Ondáš reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dušan Čaniga during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Dušan Čaniga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Budkovce's Michal Krnáč in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Viktor Očipa's late challenge caught a Jablonka FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Viktor Očipa helped the player get up and apologised. Jablonka FC's Marek Ondáš played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurel Papp in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emil Mišenka made a kick off. Aurel Papp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Jablonka FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Róbert Šechný hit a great ball. Aurel Papp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Jablonka FC booed when Budkovce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miroslav Koniarek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lukáš Uhliar struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Marián Vendel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jablonka FC. Marek Ondáš made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Aurel Papp sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st minute, Lukáš Uhliar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emil Mišenka took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marián Vendel. Marián Vendel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Marek Ondáš made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurel Papp in the 91st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Emil Mišenka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jablonka FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emil Mišenka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marián Vendel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ľubomír Hoger's late challenge caught a Budkovce's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ľubomír Hoger helped the player get up and apologised. Ľubomír Hoger hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Jablonka FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
