The referee ignored FK Real Madrid's protests and gave Andrej Sklenár a yellow card for diving instead. If Andrej Sklenár had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vladimír Šťastný struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Juraj Thomka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Real Madrid. The FK Real Madrid players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Jablonica were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vladimír Šťastný made a kick off. When Andrej Sklenár was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 56 minutes had been played. Jablonica's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Maroš Železník sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ján Horvát lost his temper 93 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Róbert Kalivoda placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out!
