Nové Zámky's Marek Bega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbert Tarageľ in the 3rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Róbert Tarageľ's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marek Bega was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Adidovce's Marek Vorobeľ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radovan Cifra in the 11th minute of play. Radovan Cifra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Halenár kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Adidovce's Ján Hajdu got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Peter Kapráľ came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Nové Zámky fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Kapráľ couldn't finish the play. Vladimír Danížek hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Nové Zámky's Igor Jurkemik couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 38th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Adidovce. Marek Bega made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Ján Hajdu sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peter Kapráľ stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ján Hajdu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marek Bega having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Ján Hajdu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 57th minute Róbert Tarageľ shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marek Bega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Róbert Tarageľ made a precise shot to the right of Marek Bega. Nové Zámky's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Nové Zámky's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 93 minutes into the match, Nové Zámky's goal looked a bit too open when Róbert Tarageľ came free, but Marek Bega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adidovce's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
