Miroslav Alexy hit a great ball. After having played for 13 minutes, Miroslav Alexy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Breza FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miroslav Alexy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miroslav Alexy scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aurel Penner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Breza FK's Tomáš Fetis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Breza FK from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd minute, Viktor Gazdík hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miroslav Alexy in the 23rd minute of play forced Potoky's goalkeeper Aurel Penner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matúš Tuleja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurel Penner having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Potoky's goal looked a bit too open when Matúš Tuleja came free, but Aurel Penner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Breza FK's zone, Tomáš Janočko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomáš Fetis came out of the goal and Tomáš Janočko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aurel Penner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matúš Tuleja in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Breza FK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matúš Tuleja stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomáš Pataj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomáš Fetis having to interfere. In the 57th match minute, Potoky was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Róbert Ňahaj to maneuver through the defense. Tomáš Pataj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Tomáš Fetis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomáš Janočko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomáš Fetis having to interfere. 1-1 became the score in the 64th minute when Tomáš Janočko elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Tomáš Pataj got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Matúš Tuleja blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aurel Penner having to make a save. In the 76th minute, Tomáš Pataj left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Potoky fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Tomáš Janočko took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomáš Fetis. Tomáš Fetis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 84th minute Tomáš Pataj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomáš Fetis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomáš Pataj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Tomáš Fetis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Potoky fans cheered their team off the field, for while Breza FK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
