The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind FK Pezan's goalkeeper Dušan Hejnus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Richard Sekera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Dušan Hejnus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to FK Pezan getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Filip Kadlec hit a great ball. Filip Ješo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dušan Hejnus having to interfere. In the 16th minute Richard Sekera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dušan Hejnus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filip Ješo got free with Dušan Hejnus in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th minute of the match Babie FC got a corner. FK Pezan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Nagy ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Kadlec in the 48th minute of play forced Babie FC's goalkeeper Ivan Gašpar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viliam Vácval made a kick off. Peter Išták charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. FK Pezan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antón Efler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 88 minutes into the game, FK Pezan's Antón Efler nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivan Gašpar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Babie FC's Ivan Gašpar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viliam Vácval in the 93rd minute of play. The FK Pezan players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
