Rastislav Vinarčík made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matej Bezák in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Matej Bezák had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rastislav Vinarčík. Piešťany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matej Bezák was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 37 minutes of play Sporting Club Kanguru's Stanislav Vittek was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground.
