After 27 minutes of play, MFK Ružomberok's Pavlos Iordanidis made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anıl Ege Sebuktekin was left in no man's land by his defense there! The throw-in from Lukáš Pištek in the 30th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC DNV Bratiskava's Ovidiu Costache. Ivan Čanecký came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC DNV Bratiskava's Carlos Eduardo Dante. But to his dismay, Carlos Eduardo Dante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Anıl Ege Sebuktekin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavlos Iordanidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. MFK Ružomberok's Ivan Čanecký played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Eduardo Dante in the 52nd minute of play. After 53 minutes MFK Ružomberok's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nils Breitbücher who took care of the corner kick. Nils Breitbücher made a great header on FC DNV Bratiskava's corner, it was just that MFK Ružomberok's Ivan Čanecký managed to reach the ball for a save. Henrich Šípka took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anıl Ege Sebuktekin. FC DNV Bratiskava's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of FC DNV Bratiskava booed when MFK Ružomberok was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chucky Norris didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavlos Iordanidis in the 67th minute of play forced FC DNV Bratiskava's goalkeeper Anıl Ege Sebuktekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute of the match MFK Ružomberok got a corner. FC DNV Bratiskava's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Henrich Šípka ran over to the corner to take the kick.
