Filip Voitiş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinand Revický in the 11th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Curea was the one to do the kick off. 1.FC Petrzalka's Filip Voitiş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrich Šípka in the 56th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pavlos Iordanidis in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filip Voitiş saved 1.FC Petrzalka from getting behind. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind 1.FC Petrzalka's goalkeeper Filip Voitiş, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 62ndth minute of the game Pavlos Iordanidis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 1.FC Petrzalka's Filip Voitiş was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the 1.FC Petrzalka defense, Chucky Norris kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filip Voitiş. The 1.FC Petrzalka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filip Voitiş should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Dávid Kuba managed to get in a good position for a shot. MFK Ružomberok's supporters rose to their feet, but Dávid Kuba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filip Voitiş breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Revický in the 84th minute of play forced 1.FC Petrzalka's goalkeeper Filip Voitiş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filip Voitiş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dávid Kuba, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Filip Voitiş didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when MFK Ružomberok's Pavlos Iordanidis shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 94th minute Pavlos Iordanidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Voitiş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that MFK Ružomberok were the better team. MFK Ružomberok's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
