The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Remo Marković was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Čatež NK's goalkeeper Bogomil Perger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michael Arnšek. Čatež NK's Gal Denac got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remo Marković in the 72nd minute of play forced Trebnje FC's goalkeeper Bronislav Korbar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adormi Štinjek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Demeter Perkič sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Gal Denac managed to get in a good position for a shot. Čatež NK's supporters rose to their feet, but Gal Denac was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bronislav Korbar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 90 minutes into the match, Čatež NK's Gal Denac sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bronislav Korbar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adormi Štinjek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Bogomil Perger made a huge save. Bogomil Perger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adormi Štinjek in the 96th minute.
