Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) NK Grobosti's Zemri Eberl started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Borna Devetak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Borna Devetak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicholas Kodele having to interfere. In the 11th minute Črt Tancek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicholas Kodele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zemri Eberl in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olivij Bajde prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nicholas Kodele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Veinhandl, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Anis Rodošek took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nicholas Kodele. NK Grobosti's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Borna Devetak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicholas Kodele read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zemri Eberl in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olivij Bajde saved Kamnik NK from getting behind. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alexander Veinhandl to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to NK Grobosti getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Almir Zagožen hit a great ball. Almir Zagožen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olivij Bajde having to interfere. NK Grobosti's Zemri Eberl got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Almir Zagožen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Alexander Veinhandl put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Nicholas Kodele. Anđelo Vengust took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Olivij Bajde. Kamnik NK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Borna Devetak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicholas Kodele having to interfere. If Alexander Veinhandl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 94th match minute, NK Grobosti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Piero Ilijevec to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute, Alexander Veinhandl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Kamnik NK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kamnik NK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
