Amadej Babič sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Amadej Babič managed to get in a good position for a shot. Razkrižje FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadej Babič was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Jančar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nino Karničar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Amadej Babič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Razkrižje FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nino Karničar came free, but Advan Bržan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 minutes, Miro Vračar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Železniki MNK and the Razkrižje FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Razkrižje FC booed when Železniki MNK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Meta Piškur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nikolaj Murgelj could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Christian Jančar made a huge save. When Amadej Babič came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Razkrižje FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadej Babič couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Meta Piškur to make the kick off. Nino Karničar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Meta Piškur fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Železniki MNK's protests and gave Meta Piškur a yellow card for diving instead. After 57 played minutes Železniki MNK got a freekick which was hit by Meta Piškur. Meta Piškur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Advan Bržan having to make a save. Meta Piškur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Advan Bržan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nino Karničar in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Advan Bržan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nino Karničar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Nino Karničar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Železniki MNK booed when Razkrižje FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Suad Travičić didn't get a good kick on the ball. Meta Piškur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Advan Bržan having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Nino Karničar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Železniki MNK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Železniki MNK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
