Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Meta Piškur started the match with the kick off. Mirando Župec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miro Vračar's late challenge caught a Moravci ND's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miro Vračar helped the player get up and apologised. 10 minutes into the match, Moravci ND's goal looked a bit too open when Meta Piškur came free, but Refik Stritar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Moravci ND's Mirando Župec got a free kick in the 11th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Železniki MNK's Meta Piškur sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Refik Stritar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Christian Jančar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mirando Župec in the 19th minute of the match. Ismet Jus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Jančar having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Tomo Indihar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, Moravci ND's goal looked a bit too open when Meta Piškur came free, but Refik Stritar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Refik Stritar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Meta Piškur showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. Ismet Jus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Jančar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Semir Brezočnik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ismet Jus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Nevio Cerkovnik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ismet Jus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Refik Stritar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nino Karničar's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the game, Železniki MNK's Meta Piškur nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Refik Stritar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Mirando Župec got his second yellow card in the match during the 75th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Mirando Župec kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Moravci ND's goal looked a bit too open when Meta Piškur came free, but Refik Stritar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manfred Žohar hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Semir Brezočnik's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Christian Jančar firmly grabbed it by the left post. Semir Brezočnik succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 93rd playminute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Železniki MNK had won after a very even match.
