Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 4 minutes, Žani Sonc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lendava ND's supporters crossed their fingers, but Žani Sonc was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 12 minutes into the game, Đemal Krajnc cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dalibor Širovnik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Egi Oven during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Skofja Loka getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Egi Oven hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Skofja Loka's zone, Maks Abazovski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Massimo Debevc came out of the goal and Maks Abazovski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Skofja Loka's Massimo Debevc got control of the ball when Juraj Zmazek tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 23rd minute Đemal Krajnc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalibor Širovnik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dalibor Širovnik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zija Šamu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 27 minutes, Juraj Zmazek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lendava ND's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juraj Zmazek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Žani Sonc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Massimo Debevc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 played minutes Skofja Loka got a freekick which was hit by Nenad Sajovic. In the 36thth minute of the game Zija Šamu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lendava ND's Dalibor Širovnik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dalibor Širovnik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Đemal Krajnc in the 37th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, Đemal Krajnc cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Dalibor Širovnik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Đemal Krajnc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Skofja Loka were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A collision led to Skofja Loka getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Medin Vrbnjak hit a great ball. Dalibor Širovnik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Đemal Krajnc in the 59th minute of play. Ladislav Trdan's late challenge caught a Skofja Loka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ladislav Trdan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st match minute, Lendava ND was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladislav Trdan to maneuver through the defense. Žani Sonc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Massimo Debevc having to interfere. Bojan Rot's late challenge caught a Lendava ND's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bojan Rot helped the player get up and apologised. If Žani Sonc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zija Šamu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the match, Lendava ND's goal looked a bit too open when Đemal Krajnc came free, but Dalibor Širovnik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bojan Rot hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Đemal Krajnc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Skofja Loka eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
