After 9 played minutes Lendava ND got a freekick which was hit by Maks Abazovski. Gavrilo Likar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gavrilo Likar made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 16thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Dalibor Širovnik would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. After 18 played minutes, Lendava ND's Renco Urh shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sonny ÄŒuÅ¡ came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lendava ND reached it. Juraj Zmazek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Žani Sonc was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juraj Zmazek got free with Sonny ÄŒuÅ¡ in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vanja Plesničar charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vanja Plesničar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lendava ND's Dalibor Širovnik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavrilo Likar in the 82nd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Žani Sonc fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Sonny ÄŒuÅ¡ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Đino Mrkonja in the 88th minute of play. Å alovci FC's Gavrilo Likar got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Žani Sonc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lendava ND's supporters rose to their feet, but Žani Sonc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sonny ÄŒuÅ¡ breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
