Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After 5 minutes of play, Skofja Loka's Đemal Krajnc made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sonny ÄŒuÅ¡ was left in no man's land by his defense there! 9 minutes into the match, Å alovci FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zija Šamu came free, but Sonny ÄŒuÅ¡ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zija Šamu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sonny ÄŒuÅ¡ having to interfere. In the 14th minute Đemal Krajnc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sonny ÄŒuÅ¡ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sonny ÄŒuÅ¡ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Đemal Krajnc in the 16th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zija Šamu in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sonny ÄŒuÅ¡ saved Å alovci FC from getting behind. If Đemal Krajnc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 23rd minute, Đemal Krajnc made a precise shot to the right of Sonny ÄŒuÅ¡. Å alovci FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Massimo Debevc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dragomer Å pegel in the 34th minute of play. Zija Šamu struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Sonny ÄŒuÅ¡ didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skofja Loka. 38 minutes into the match, Đemal Krajnc had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sonny ÄŒuÅ¡. Å alovci FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Đemal Krajnc was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Nebojša Semprimožnik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skofja Loka's supporters rose to their feet, but Nebojša Semprimožnik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sonny ÄŒuÅ¡ breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zija Šamu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sonny ÄŒuÅ¡ having to interfere. After the first half Skofja Loka were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Đemal Krajnc made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Å alovci FC's zone, Đemal Krajnc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sonny ÄŒuÅ¡ came out of the goal and Đemal Krajnc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sonny ÄŒuÅ¡ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Đemal Krajnc, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Dragomer Å pegel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 76 played minutes Skofja Loka got a freekick which was hit by Jean Šušteršič. Sonny ÄŒuÅ¡ didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 79th minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marij JuriÄ during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jean Šušteršič's late challenge caught a Å alovci FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jean Šušteršič helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th match minute, Skofja Loka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean Šušteršič to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, Å alovci FC's Dragomer Å pegel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Massimo Debevc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Å alovci FC's Sonny ÄŒuÅ¡ proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Å alovci FC from getting a goal against them. Dragomer Å pegel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Massimo Debevc having to interfere. Skofja Loka's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
