But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lado Branković couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stična's goalkeeper Črtomir Kaloper, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rosando Serdinšek to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Rosando Serdinšek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ognjeslav Koenig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosando Serdinšek in the 60th minute of play forced Ljutomer MNK's goalkeeper Ognjeslav Koenig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Črtomir Kaloper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Job Rudolf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adis Bedenik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Črtomir Kaloper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stična's Črtomir Kaloper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronald Kavčič in the 66th minute of play. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stična's goalkeeper Črtomir Kaloper, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 72nd match minute, Stična was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mladen Planinšič to maneuver through the defense. Črtomir Kaloper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Job Rudolf in the 75th minute of the match. Brin Perić kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Ognjeslav Koenig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosando Serdinšek, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After 81 played minutes Stična got a freekick which was hit by Lado Branković. Črtomir Kaloper came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Ljutomer MNK's Job Rudolf. But to his dismay, Job Rudolf quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Adis Bedenik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Črtomir Kaloper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Job Rudolf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adis Bedenik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the game, Čedo Pirc was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stična's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ljutomer MNK the free kick. After a rather tough play, Stična's Čedo Pirc got a free kick in the 94th minute. Črtomir Kaloper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronald Kavčič in the 96th minute of play.
