Emil Vetrih showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Kogovšek in the 31st minute of the match. Emil Vetrih took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonz Velej, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Matija Tepić came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Preddvor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matija Tepić couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the game, Dragiša Pečevnik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stična's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Preddvor the free kick. Horst Krope was a little too slow when Matija Tepić got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toni Tomc couldn't finish the play. 76 minutes into the game, Stična's Fabio Kogovšek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emil Vetrih made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 81st minute of the match Adis Loboda sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Horst Krope skillfully saved the ball. Fabio Kogovšek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Matija Tepić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Stična walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
