Črnomelj ND's Milovan Vrančić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Črnomelj ND from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute, Uroš Gašperlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Črnomelj ND's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Vladislav Dobrajc scored to the left of an out of position Milovan Vrančić, making the score, 2-0. In the 29th minute, Vladislav Dobrajc ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Milovan Vrančić was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The supporters of Dolenjske toplice booed when Črnomelj ND was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dragi Mohar didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Črnomelj ND's Milovan Vrančić got control of the ball when Uroš Gašperlin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dolenjske toplice's Matijaž Weiner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dragi Mohar in the 39th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Dolenjske toplice's goal looked a bit too open when Dragi Mohar came free, but Matijaž Weiner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Savin Ivančič received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Matijaž Weiner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Savin Ivančič struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Matijaž Weiner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Črnomelj ND. Savin Ivančič sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Dolenjske toplice booed when Črnomelj ND was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alojz Trontelj didn't get a good kick on the ball. Črnomelj ND's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Dolenjske toplice had won, even though Črnomelj ND had held more of the ball.
