After 12 minutes of play, Ravne na Koroškem ND's Lovrenc Lovšin made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matijaž Weiner was left in no man's land by his defense there! 17 minutes into the match, Ravne na Koroškem ND's goalkeeper Avguštin Dermastja had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Goropevšek. In the 18th match minute, Ravne na Koroškem ND was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oton Vidmar to maneuver through the defense. Vladislav Dobrajc was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 19th minute. Dolenjske toplice's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 21stth minute of the game Kras Radoš who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dolenjske toplice's Matijaž Weiner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Kras Radoš sped through Dolenjske toplice's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Matijaž Weiner. Lovrenc Lovšin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Matijaž Weiner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matijaž Weiner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lovrenc Lovšin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Igor Goropevšek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Avguštin Dermastja made a huge save. In the 30th minute, Lojzek Bohak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute, Oleg Merc sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ravne na Koroškem ND's Avguštin Dermastja didn't even have to move. In the 34th minute, Vladislav Dobrajc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute, Kras Radoš ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matijaž Weiner was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Avguštin Dermastja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladislav Dobrajc in the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

A collision led to Dolenjske toplice getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Stefan Makuc hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Goropevšek in the 56th minute of play forced Ravne na Koroškem ND's goalkeeper Avguštin Dermastja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Oton Vidmar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Avguštin Dermastja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladislav Dobrajc, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lovrenc Lovšin got free with Matijaž Weiner in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kras Radoš in the 63rd minute of play forced Dolenjske toplice's goalkeeper Matijaž Weiner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lovrenc Lovšin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matijaž Weiner having to make a save. If Kras Radoš had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ravne na Koroškem ND's Avguštin Dermastja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Goropevšek in the 68th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Petrit Oselj during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 71st minute, Igor Goropevšek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Avguštin Dermastja was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Kras Radoš sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Dolenjske toplice fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! Lorenco Stermec walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. When Uroš Gašperlin fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dolenjske toplice's protests and gave Uroš Gašperlin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Dolenjske toplice getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Uroš Gašperlin hit a great ball. In the 90th minute, Igor Goropevšek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 94 minutes, Igor Goropevšek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dolenjske toplice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Goropevšek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lovrenc Lovšin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matijaž Weiner having to interfere.
