The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zija Šibila in the 5th minute of play forced red fuckers cf's goalkeeper Rilind Taks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rilind Taks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zija Šibila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute, Martin Škrgić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes in the game, Slobodan Škrabec fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Stevan Šeme having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Zija Šibila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ferdinand Trtnik charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferdinand Trtnik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Almin Hafner made a kick off. 60 minutes into the match, Rogaška's goal looked a bit too open when Nelson Klepec came free, but Stevan Šeme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zija Šibila's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rilind Taks read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. The Rogaška fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Rogaška's Jovan Osojnik looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
