Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Šalovci's Klavdij Kodele started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Šalovci's Klavdij Kodele slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sašo Jelenc. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. Vitodrag Papinutti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jezersko's Vitodrag Papinutti got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 12 minutes into the game, one of Šalovci:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Sašo Jelenc was a little too slow when Radovan Korun got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klavdij Kodele in the 27th minute of play forced Jezersko's goalkeeper Sašo Jelenc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zvonko Brezovački's late challenge caught a Jezersko's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zvonko Brezovački helped the player get up and apologised. After 29 played minutes Šalovci got a freekick which was hit by Zvonko Brezovački. Vitodrag Papinutti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Puc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Radovan Korun in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sašo Jelenc, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 33rd minute, Job Rožanc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Šalovci's Manuel Puc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mirando Škrabec in the 42nd minute of play. If Mirando Škrabec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mirando Škrabec stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Klavdij Kodele took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sašo Jelenc. Sašo Jelenc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Radovan Korun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sašo Jelenc having to interfere. Matej Štamcar kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Erazem Sivka, 68 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Vitodrag Papinutti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Manuel Puc made a huge save. Manuel Puc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vitodrag Papinutti in the 76th minute. Manuel Puc made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Vitodrag Papinutti sent off a good shot on target. If Vitodrag Papinutti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Šalovci's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
