Just Planovšek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Mirjan Šmon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Just Planovšek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Metlika ND's goal looked a bit too open when Just Planovšek came free, but Mirjan Šmon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vladislav Podbregar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Vladislav Podbregar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milanko Ahčin got free with Mirjan Šmon in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Istok Kopasić kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Milovan Ivič. That made the score 0-2 in the 54 minute of play. Klodian Jaševec kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Istok Kopasić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mirjan Šmon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 81st minute, Just Planovšek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Milovan Ivič didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Metlika ND's Istok Kopasić shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Milanko Ahčin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mirjan Šmon having to interfere.
