After a rather tough play, Zavrč FC's Nihad Pejčić got a free kick in the 14th minute. Semič's Anžej Aćimović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cene Grm in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Zavrč FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nihad Pejčić to maneuver through the defense. Fadil Japelj struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Vid Trampuš didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Semič. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Vid Trampuš as he didn't even see the shot coming. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
