Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Matko Bernik got the match started through his kick off. Čedomir Krejči sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dagmar GoriÅ¡ek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mujo Lukek in the 17th minute of the match. Mujo Lukek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagmar GoriÅ¡ek having to interfere. A hard shot by Gvido Hauptman from long distance, 31 minutes into the match, got Ljupko Vučko's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paskal Kosec in the 33rd minute of play forced Rateče's goalkeeper Dagmar GoriÅ¡ek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Čedomir Krejči notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Rateče's Dagmar GoriÅ¡ek. Dagmar GoriÅ¡ek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Rateče getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Horst Oblak hit a great ball. After having played for 43 minutes, Venco Košir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Podlehnik ND's supporters crossed their fingers, but Venco Košir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dagmar GoriÅ¡ek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Čedomir Krejči, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mujo Lukek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ljupko Vučko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gusti Petrin in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Rateče's Samo Vesel got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Rateče's Dagmar GoriÅ¡ek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Rateče from getting a goal against them. If Gusti Petrin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 77th match minute, Rateče was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Kruh to maneuver through the defense. When Gusti Petrin came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Rateče fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gusti Petrin couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Rateče's Samo Vesel got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Dagmar GoriÅ¡ek came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Podlehnik ND's Čedomir Krejči. But to his dismay, Čedomir Krejči quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Čedomir Krejči received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Dagmar GoriÅ¡ek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Podlehnik ND's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
