Hieronim ĐuraÅ¡ charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hieronim ĐuraÅ¡ the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mirna Peč FC booed when Pesnica ND was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hieronim ĐuraÅ¡ didn't get a good kick on the ball. Slobodan Maček was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Dragoslav Vuksanović capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dragoslav Vuksanović really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 7 minutes, Nurija Pugelj mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mirna Peč FC and the Pesnica ND players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Pesnica ND booed when Mirna Peč FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nurija Pugelj didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boban GrobelÅ¡ek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronald Artnak having to interfere. Nick Ožbolt charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nick Ožbolt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute, Nick Ožbolt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 17 played minutes, Pesnica ND's Arpad Sorec shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ronald Artnak came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pesnica ND reached it. Gostimir Jotanović kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bogo Klenovšek during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bogo Klenovšek hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute of the match Hieronim ĐuraÅ¡ shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ronald Artnak showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Patrick Å krlec came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Pesnica ND fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrick Å krlec couldn't finish the play. Waldemar Ilešič recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Mirna Peč FC's goal looked a bit too open when Boban GrobelÅ¡ek came free, but Ronald Artnak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Boban GrobelÅ¡ek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gostimir Jotanović hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After 54 played minutes Pesnica ND got a freekick which was hit by Gostimir Jotanović. Nurija Pugelj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Slobodan Maček tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dragoslav Vuksanović in the 63rd minute of play forced Pesnica ND's goalkeeper Slobodan Maček to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th match minute, Pesnica ND was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gostimir Jotanović to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, Mirna Peč FC's Dragoslav Vuksanović sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Slobodan Maček narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boban GrobelÅ¡ek in the 72nd minute of play forced Mirna Peč FC's goalkeeper Ronald Artnak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bogo Klenovšek hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Argio Sonc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute of the match Mirna Peč FC got a corner. Pesnica ND's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anis Pavlin ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Dragoslav Vuksanović came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Mirna Peč FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dragoslav Vuksanović couldn't finish the play. If Dragoslav Vuksanović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, Pesnica ND's goal looked a bit too open when Nurija Pugelj came free, but Slobodan Maček reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrick Å krlec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronald Artnak having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mirna Peč FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pesnica ND had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
