Lendavske gorice's Jozo Hočevar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anis Koderman in the 24th minute of play. A hard shot 27 in the game by Ordančo Korez from a close distance when the talented Vojteh Župec managed to make a qualified save. Komenda's players were relieved. In the 28th minute, Ordančo Korez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Lendavske gorice booed when Komenda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Tutin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute Aleksa Žakelj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jozo Hočevar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 46 minutes, Aleksa Žakelj managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Komenda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aleksa Žakelj was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rupert Povše made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Rupert Povše had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vojteh Župec. Komenda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rupert Povše was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aleksa Žakelj got free with Jozo Hočevar in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aleksa Žakelj could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Jozo Hočevar made a huge save. In the 64th minute Anis Koderman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jozo Hočevar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jozo Hočevar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksa Žakelj in the 65th minute of the match. With a little luck, Lendavske gorice's Jozo Hočevar got control of the ball when Aleksa Žakelj tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ordančo Korez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vojteh Župec having to interfere. Komenda's Vojteh Župec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ordančo Korez in the 75th minute of play. After 77 played minutes Komenda got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Tutin. Jozo Hočevar made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Aleksa Žakelj sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Lendavske gorice's zone, Anis Koderman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jozo Hočevar came out of the goal and Anis Koderman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Aleksa Žakelj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lendavske gorice's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
