The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Žiri booed when Križevci was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erazem Jelnikar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Renzo Miloš received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Erih Vidmajer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Renzo Miloš did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Erih Vidmajer 37 minutes into the match. Servacij Ovsec hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Lorenco Novković took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Izudin Gnezda. Izudin Gnezda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1.
