Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Liberat Mohar started the match with the kick off. After 5 minutes, Metod Borišek made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. NK Bavarski Volkovi's Vince Lešnik tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 9 minutes into the match, Dobrna ND's goalkeeper Miomir Gaber had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Jarh. If Sandro Gregorič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miomir Gaber came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by NK Bavarski Volkovi's Edward Jarh. But to his dismay, Edward Jarh quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Sandro Gregorič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Liberat Mohar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Vince Lešnik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liberat Mohar in the 25th minute of play forced NK Bavarski Volkovi's goalkeeper Vince Lešnik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sandro Gregorič took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miomir Gaber. Miomir Gaber dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 38th minute Sandro Gregorič shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miomir Gaber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valter Robas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vince Lešnik having to interfere. After 47 played minutes NK Bavarski Volkovi got a freekick which was hit by Perica Knežević. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Timi Udvanc was the one to do the kick off. Liberat Mohar hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Liberat Mohar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Vince Lešnik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vince Lešnik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Metod Borišek in the 63rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timi Udvanc in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miomir Gaber saved Dobrna ND from getting behind. Timi Udvanc blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miomir Gaber having to make a save. 79 minutes into the game, Metod Borišek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Vince Lešnik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Miomir Gaber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Jarh in the 85th minute of play. Miomir Gaber came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by NK Bavarski Volkovi's Timi Udvanc. But to his dismay, Timi Udvanc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Metod Borišek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vince Lešnik having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Dobrna ND's Đorđo Lukanović seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Đorđo Lukanović the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Dobrna ND protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Đorđo Lukanović had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 98th minute there was a penalty for NK Bavarski Volkovi. Edward Jarh stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Miomir Gaber. 4-3. NK Bavarski Volkovi's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
