Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Eugen Plesničar made the kick off which started today's match. Helmut Jakšić came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Ljubljana's Nikola Kogoj. But to his dismay, Nikola Kogoj quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Dominik Uranc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Rade Bombek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute there was a penalty for Ormož NK. Leon Trivković stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rade Bombek. 1-1. 20 minutes into the match, Ljubljana's goal looked a bit too open when Dominik Uranc came free, but Rade Bombek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dominik Uranc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Helmut Jakšić stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nikola Kogoj's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After 31 played minutes Ormož NK got a freekick which was hit by Leon Trivković. After 31 played minutes, Ljubljana's Ecijo Habjan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Helmut Jakšić came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ljubljana reached it. A hard shot 36 in the game by Džon Šmalc from a close distance when the talented Rade Bombek managed to make a qualified save. Ljubljana's players were relieved. Džon Šmalc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rade Bombek having to interfere. Dominik Uranc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Rade Bombek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Helmut Jakšić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikola Kogoj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Dominik Uranc made the kick off in the second half. Dominik Uranc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ormož NK's Džon Šmalc got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 60 minutes of play, Ormož NK's Dominik Uranc made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rade Bombek was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Ormož NK getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Job Gabrijel hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Eugen Plesničar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ljubljana's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugen Plesničar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Helmut Jakšić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nikola Kogoj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nikola Kogoj who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Helmut Jakšić when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jano Krajšek's late challenge caught a Ljubljana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jano Krajšek helped the player get up and apologised. Jano Krajšek kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. A collision led to Ormož NK getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Jano Krajšek hit a great ball. In the 78th minute of the match Ecijo Habjan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Helmut Jakšić skillfully saved the ball. Nikola Kogoj struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Helmut Jakšić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ljubljana. An unexpectedly hard shot by Džon Šmalc in the 89th minute of play forced Ljubljana's goalkeeper Rade Bombek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ljubljana's zone, Džon Šmalc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rade Bombek came out of the goal and Džon Šmalc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute Džon Šmalc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rade Bombek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
