Zmagoslav Golli kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. With a little luck, Stična ND's Maksim Jankovič got control of the ball when Artur Sedlak tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Edi ZavrÅ¡an managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stična ND's supporters rose to their feet, but Edi ZavrÅ¡an was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bujar Hribovšek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Tomislav Prosenjak fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rateče NK's protests and gave Tomislav Prosenjak a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th match minute, Rateče NK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomislav Prosenjak to maneuver through the defense. Edi ZavrÅ¡an recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edi ZavrÅ¡an hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, Stična ND's goal looked a bit too open when Marjan Grubelnik came free, but Maksim Jankovič reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stična ND's Maksim Jankovič played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marjan Grubelnik in the 22nd minute of play. In the 30th minute of the game, Gorazd Jeler landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Gojko Å vent fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stična ND's protests and gave Gojko Å vent a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th minute, Gojko Å vent hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Stična ND's zone, Artur Sedlak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maksim Jankovič came out of the goal and Artur Sedlak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bujar Hribovšek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edi ZavrÅ¡an's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Rateče NK's Bujar Hribovšek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Husein Jelen in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to Rateče NK getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Norbert Miklič hit a great ball.

In the 54th minute, Artur Sedlak made a precise shot to the right of Maksim Jankovič. Stična ND's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 58th match minute, Stična ND was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edi ZavrÅ¡an to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Stična ND's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Sedlak came free, but Maksim Jankovič reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kristifor Luskar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 66 minutes, Artur Sedlak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rateče NK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artur Sedlak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rateče NK's Bujar Hribovšek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Rateče NK from getting a goal against them. Bujar Hribovšek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Husein Jelen's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Edi ZavrÅ¡an received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Bujar Hribovšek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rateče NK's Bujar Hribovšek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Husein Jelen in the 87th minute of play. Edi ZavrÅ¡an could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Bujar Hribovšek made a huge save.
