In the 2nd minute Reinhard Kranjčević shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edin Budal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radovljica's Timotej Grobljar suffered a concussion in the 5th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 5 minutes, Gino Purgar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Semič and the Radovljica players grew even worse after the yellow card. Džemil Kušnik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Edin Budal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Semič's Edin Budal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Novica Krznar in the 10th minute of play. Edin Budal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Novica Krznar in the 12th minute of play. If Novica Krznar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 18 in the game by Filip Porčić from a close distance when the talented Miro Petač managed to make a qualified save. Radovljica's players were relieved. Novica Krznar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Novica Krznar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edin Budal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Inot Abazovski hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Filip Porčić could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Miro Petač made a huge save. 45 minutes into the match, Radovljica's goalkeeper Miro Petač had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filip Porčić. Bogo Žnidar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miro Petač having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Novica Krznar made the kick off in the second half. Žani Lepej sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miro Petač made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gino Purgar in the 61st minute of play. Livio Abazovski charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Livio Abazovski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Radovljica's Livio Abazovski got a free kick in the 63rd minute. If Novica Krznar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Novica Krznar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Semič's goal looked a bit too open when Reinhard Kranjčević came free, but Edin Budal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sefedin Glažer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edin Budal having to interfere. After having played for 79 minutes, Novica Krznar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Radovljica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Novica Krznar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miro Petač showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Porčić, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Filip Porčić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
