Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ljubljana FC's Sali Senčar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rdth minute of the game Ditrih Vučić who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dobrna's Rajnhold Spahič was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Ljubljana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maurizio Pograjc came free, but Slađan Lap reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute, Koloman Bradeško hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute Sali Senčar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rajnhold Spahič saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Slađan Lap showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurizio Pograjc, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 11th match minute, Ljubljana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samir Ločniškar to maneuver through the defense. Sali Senčar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Rajnhold Spahič tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Slađan Lap took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurizio Pograjc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot by Sergio Šneberger from long distance, 21 minutes into the match, got Rajnhold Spahič's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 21 played minutes Dobrna got a freekick which was hit by Meta Benedičič. After recieving a nice pass, Ljubljana FC's Vito Grilj tried to score from far away in the 22nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After having played for 34 minutes, Maurizio Pograjc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dobrna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maurizio Pograjc was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ljubljana FC's Slađan Lap played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antiša Juretič in the 46th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 48th minute of the game. One of Dobrna:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ljubljana FC:s goal. Vito Grilj shot the penalty kick right outside the post.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maurizio Pograjc made a kick off. Antiša Juretič's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Slađan Lap skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Ljubljana FC's Jaroslav Gomboc got a free kick in the 57th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Dobrna's goal looked a bit too open when Sali Senčar came free, but Rajnhold Spahič reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Džemil Petek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, Ljubljana FC's Džemil Petek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rajnhold Spahič narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Džemil Petek in the 68th minute of play forced Dobrna's goalkeeper Rajnhold Spahič to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rajnhold Spahič showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Džemil Petek in the 69th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, Ditrih Vučić was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ljubljana FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dobrna the free kick. The supporters of Dobrna booed when Ljubljana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ditrih Vučić didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard, long distance shot from Ditrih Vučić flew over the goal. After 79 played minutes Dobrna got a freekick which was hit by Pavao Hostar. Vito Grilj didn't quite understand what happened when in the 81 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurizio Pograjc in the 84th minute of play forced Ljubljana FC's goalkeeper Slađan Lap to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ljubljana FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Samir Ločniškar hit a great ball. Maurizio Pograjc blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Slađan Lap having to make a save. Sali Senčar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Rajnhold Spahič tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
