Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Miodrag Podgorelec started the match with the kick off. In the 8thth minute of the game Miodrag Podgorelec who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dobrunje FC's Isen Markulin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Brezovica's Asmir Hribernik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Brezovica from getting a goal against them. Isen Markulin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miodrag Podgorelec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dobrunje FC's goalkeeper Isen Markulin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jean Jošt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Jean Jošt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vanja Moder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute, Miodrag Podgorelec got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miodrag Podgorelec in the 39th minute of play forced Dobrunje FC's goalkeeper Isen Markulin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Renco Gravnar made a precise shot to the right of Isen Markulin. Dobrunje FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Vanja Moder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vanja Moder to make the kick off. If Milanko Hribar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isen Markulin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miodrag Podgorelec's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Isen Markulin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miodrag Podgorelec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute of the match Miro Mohorič sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isen Markulin skillfully saved the ball. Brezovica's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Miro Mohorič in the 69th minute. The corner ended in Miro Mohorič almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dobrunje FC's Isen Markulin did a great save. A collision led to Dobrunje FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Maksimiljan Kramar hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, Brezovica's goal looked a bit too open when Vanja Moder came free, but Asmir Hribernik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 81 played minutes Brezovica got a freekick which was hit by Renco Gravnar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Jošt in the 82nd minute of play forced Brezovica's goalkeeper Asmir Hribernik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute Dobrunje FC were awarded a corner. Hasan Blagus went to the cornerflag to take it. The Brezovica supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Brezovica would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
