Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Janez Krajnc started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernhard Bubnič in the 5th minute of play forced NK Debenec's goalkeeper Timotej Štrajhar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ig MNK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dražen Šuštaršič in the 7th minute. After 11 played minutes Ig MNK got a freekick which was hit by Ingenuin Miklič. When NK Debenec's Janez Krajnc in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ig MNK's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Pustotnik in the 14th minute of play forced NK Debenec's goalkeeper Timotej Štrajhar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Pustotnik in the 15th minute of play forced NK Debenec's goalkeeper Timotej Štrajhar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bernhard Bubnič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernhard Bubnič fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timotej Štrajhar having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernhard Bubnič in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Timotej Štrajhar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in NK Debenec's zone, Bernhard Bubnič stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timotej Štrajhar came out of the goal and Bernhard Bubnič tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Daniel Pustotnik came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Ig MNK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Pustotnik couldn't finish the play. After having played for 29 minutes, Bernhard Bubnič managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ig MNK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernhard Bubnič was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Pustotnik in the 31st minute of play forced NK Debenec's goalkeeper Timotej Štrajhar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, NK Debenec's Oton Junuzović threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Janez Krajnc, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dražan Belšak's late challenge caught a Ig MNK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dražan Belšak helped the player get up and apologised. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ervin Kruh during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, NK Debenec's Ervin Kruh got a free kick in the 41st minute. If Daniel Pustotnik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dražan Belšak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Oton Junuzović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Pustotnik stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A hard shot by Ingenuin Miklič from long distance, 53 minutes into the match, got Timotej Štrajhar's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Bernhard Bubnič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, NK Debenec's Ervin Kruh got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 63rdth minute of the game Janez Krajnc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ig MNK's Oton Junuzović was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Dražan Belšak managed to get in a good position for a shot. NK Debenec's supporters rose to their feet, but Dražan Belšak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oton Junuzović breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oton Junuzović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janez Krajnc in the 70th minute of play. Oton Junuzović showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dražan Belšak in the 71st minute of the match. Oton Junuzović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Janez Krajnc, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Fabijan Brenčič kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Gavrilo Cerkvenik struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Timotej Štrajhar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ig MNK. Oton Junuzović showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dražan Belšak in the 95th minute of the match. In the 98th minute Dražan Belšak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oton Junuzović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. NK Debenec's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
