Radimir Kolaržik made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Bernhard Bubnič sent off a good shot on target. 18 minutes into the game, Deni Brezovec was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ig MNK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Odranci the free kick. The supporters of Odranci booed when Ig MNK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deni Brezovec didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Erminij Anžlovar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabijan Brenčič during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 23 played minutes Ig MNK got a freekick which was hit by Fabijan Brenčič. When Daniel Pustotnik came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Ig MNK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Pustotnik couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernhard Bubnič got free with Radimir Kolaržik in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Bernhard Bubnič managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ig MNK's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernhard Bubnič was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radimir Kolaržik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 36 minutes in the game, Daniel Pustotnik fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Radimir Kolaržik having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Bernhard Bubnič got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bernhard Bubnič struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Radimir Kolaržik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ig MNK. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Aleks Matuha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Odranci's supporters rose to their feet, but Aleks Matuha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oton Junuzović breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The attack was good, but when Bernhard Bubnič in the 58th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Pustotnik in the 59th minute of play forced Odranci's goalkeeper Radimir Kolaržik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aleks Matuha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oton Junuzović having to interfere. Edison Bevk hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Daniel Pustotnik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radimir Kolaržik having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernhard Bubnič in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Radimir Kolaržik saved Odranci from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Ig MNK's zone, Aleks Matuha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oton Junuzović came out of the goal and Aleks Matuha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd match minute, Odranci was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Džon Sodec to maneuver through the defense. Dražen Šuštaršič took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Radimir Kolaržik. Odranci's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 89th match minute, Ig MNK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Pustotnik to maneuver through the defense. Radimir Kolaržik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Pustotnik in the 92nd minute of play. After 92 minutes, Ugo Cener mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Odranci and the Ig MNK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, Odranci was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ugo Cener to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute of the match Ig MNK got a corner. Odranci's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dražen Šuštaršič ran over to the corner to take the kick. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
