Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Devin Urbanc kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Šmartno ob Paki's Iztok Markan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Timotej Štrajhar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 6 minutes into the game, Ervin Kruh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NK Debenec's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Šmartno ob Paki the free kick. In the 36th minute Devin Urbanc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timotej Štrajhar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Devin Urbanc in the 47th minute of play forced NK Debenec's goalkeeper Timotej Štrajhar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Janez Krajnc made a kick off. Dražan Belšak in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Vrbinc, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Timotej Štrajhar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Devin Urbanc, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Gracijano Birsa charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gracijano Birsa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gracijano Birsa kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Devin Urbanc's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Timotej Štrajhar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Devin Urbanc in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Timotej Štrajhar saved NK Debenec from getting behind. Timotej Štrajhar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Devin Urbanc went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Iztok Markan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Timotej Štrajhar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rdth minute of the game Janez Krajnc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Šmartno ob Paki's Jonathan Vrbinc was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iztok Markan in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Timotej Štrajhar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 90 minutes into the match, Iztok Markan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Timotej Štrajhar. NK Debenec's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iztok Markan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Ervin Kruh kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Dražan Belšak kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Vrbinc. That made the score 5-1 in the 96 minute of play. Šmartno ob Paki's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
