Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arnulf Grandovec started the match with the kick off. Gojko Bukovec stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rupert Korenak's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. In the 7th minute, Arnulf Grandovec got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Begunje na Gorenjskem getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Aleksander Žgank hit a great ball. Arnulf Grandovec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Iztok Štiberc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gojko Bukovec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rupert Korenak in the 15th minute of the match. Iztok Štiberc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Peklenk in the 19th minute of play. Safet Kašibović in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gojko Bukovec, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 29th minute, Franček Sevčnikar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, one of Ivančna Gorica:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ivančna Gorica. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rupert Korenak in the 41st minute of play forced Ivančna Gorica's goalkeeper Gojko Bukovec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rupert Korenak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Begunje na Gorenjskem's goalkeeper Iztok Štiberc, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnulf Grandovec in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iztok Štiberc saved Begunje na Gorenjskem from getting behind. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rupert Korenak was the one to do the kick off. Rupert Korenak took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gojko Bukovec. Gojko Bukovec dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 62nd minute Safet Kašibović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gojko Bukovec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rupert Korenak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Gojko Bukovec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gojko Bukovec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Safet Kašibović in the 71st minute of the match. In the 76th minute Safet Kašibović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gojko Bukovec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Safet Kašibović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gojko Bukovec having to interfere. In the 80th minute Safet Kašibović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gojko Bukovec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Mirjan Gulić was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ivančna Gorica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Begunje na Gorenjskem the free kick. In the 80th minute, Mirjan Gulić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the match, Arnulf Grandovec dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Iztok Štiberc, 2-2. After having played for 95 minutes, Rupert Korenak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Begunje na Gorenjskem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rupert Korenak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
