Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Juraj Pondelak started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Črna na Koroškem FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Željko Vode hit a great ball. When Brin Rac came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Polzela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brin Rac couldn't finish the play. In the 10th minute, Edvin Šeško ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jurica Dolinar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Brin Rac kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Silvo Smerkolj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sejad Vrbec in the 18th minute of play. In the 20thth minute of the game Juraj Pondelak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Polzela's Silvo Smerkolj was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Silvo Smerkolj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darjo Markon, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Darjo Markon hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Tine Marinko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Jurica Dolinar made a huge save. In the 37th minute of the match Štefko Gabrič shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvo Smerkolj showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Silvo Smerkolj showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sejad Vrbec in the 38th minute of the match. Amar Grobelšek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Polzela's Tine Marinko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jurica Dolinar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tine Marinko succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 45th playminute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brin Rac was the one to do the kick off. Sejad Vrbec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvo Smerkolj having to interfere. Tine Marinko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jurica Dolinar having to interfere. If Juraj Pondelak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Polzela's Silvo Smerkolj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sejad Vrbec in the 76th minute of play. Jurica Dolinar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tine Marinko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Darjo Markon charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Darjo Markon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80th minute, Darjo Markon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81stth minute of the game Brin Rac who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Črna na Koroškem FC's Jurica Dolinar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kristian Radovanović's late challenge caught a Polzela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kristian Radovanović helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd match minute, Črna na Koroškem FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristian Radovanović to maneuver through the defense. If Sejad Vrbec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Polzela had won after a very even match.
