In the 12th minute, Sejad Vrbec got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th minute Juraj Pondelak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Šimunković saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Darjo Vindar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jurica Dolinar having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Zeni Vlaj managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tolmin ND's supporters rose to their feet, but Zeni Vlaj was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jurica Dolinar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 28 played minutes Tolmin ND got a freekick which was hit by Amar Goričan. Zeni Vlaj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Tolmin ND's Rikardo Padjen got a free kick in the 34th minute. Tolmin ND's Erik Šimunković played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juraj Pondelak in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Tolmin ND's Amar Goričan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jurica Dolinar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Jurica Dolinar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeni Vlaj in the 41st minute of play. Amar Goričan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Črna na Koroškem FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tolmin ND were winning 0-1.

The supporters of Tolmin ND booed when Črna na Koroškem FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darjo Markon didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Juraj Pondelak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darjo Markon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erik Šimunković read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Črna na Koroškem FC's Jurica Dolinar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amar Goričan in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Sejad Vrbec notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Tolmin ND's Erik Šimunković. Erik Šimunković was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Črna na Koroškem FC's zone, Zeni Vlaj stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jurica Dolinar came out of the goal and Zeni Vlaj tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Črna na Koroškem FC's Jurica Dolinar got control of the ball when Zeni Vlaj tried to sneak it across the goal line.
