Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Animo Mlakar kicked off to start the match. Etien Dvornik was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Animo Mlakar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Animo Mlakar really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 9 minutes into the match, Žiri's goal looked a bit too open when Animo Mlakar came free, but Etien Dvornik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute Dimitrij Lipovšek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanislav Kolšek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stanislav Kolšek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitrij Lipovšek, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After a rather tough play, Sodražica ND's Mato Švara got a free kick in the 17th minute. Dimitrij Lipovšek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanislav Kolšek having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Animo Mlakar put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Etien Dvornik. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Animo Mlakar in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Etien Dvornik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adolf Lebars short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Etien Dvornik to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 36th match minute, Sodražica ND was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Animo Mlakar to maneuver through the defense. Animo Mlakar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the game, Jano Štruc was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Žiri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sodražica ND the free kick. In the 43rd minute, Jano Štruc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Etien Dvornik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Azim Lesjak in the 44th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dimitrij Lipovšek to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Stanislav Kolšek managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Žiri's Riko Pohlin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 53 minutes into the match, Žiri's Riko Pohlin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stanislav Kolšek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimitrij Lipovšek in the 55th minute of play forced Sodražica ND's goalkeeper Stanislav Kolšek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Sodražica ND getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Mikele Lahajner hit a great ball. When Riko Pohlin came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Žiri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Riko Pohlin couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute, Dimitrij Lipovšek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mato Švara's late challenge caught a Žiri's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mato Švara helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 played minutes Sodražica ND got a freekick which was hit by Mato Švara. In the 61st minute, Dimitrij Lipovšek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Žiri's Riko Pohlin got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sodražica ND's Stanislav Kolšek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitrij Lipovšek in the 67th minute of play. Stanislav Kolšek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitrij Lipovšek in the 69th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Riko Pohlin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Dimitrij Lipovšek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gino Ograjenšek hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Dimitrij Lipovšek got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Riko Pohlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dimitrij Lipovšek was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 90th minute. Žiri's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Stanislav Kolšek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Riko Pohlin in the 92nd minute. When Dimitrij Lipovšek came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Žiri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dimitrij Lipovšek couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Žiri getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Dimitrij Lipovšek hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sodražica ND had won after a very even match.
