Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dimitrij Lipovšek started the match with the kick off. In the 3rdth minute of the game Dimitrij Lipovšek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Novo mesto MNK's Zekirja Praprotnik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 5 minutes, Ardenko Glušič mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Novo mesto MNK and the Žiri players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ardenko Glušič kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Jurček Bogdanović scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Etien Dvornik, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 13 played minutes Novo mesto MNK got a freekick which was hit by Janže Erjavc. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Riko Pohlin in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zekirja Praprotnik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Dimitrij Lipovšek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Žiri's supporters rose to their feet, but Dimitrij Lipovšek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zekirja Praprotnik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the match, Riko Pohlin notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Novo mesto MNK's Zekirja Praprotnik. Zekirja Praprotnik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Novo mesto MNK's Ardenko Glušič got a free kick in the 21st minute. 28 minutes into the match, Žiri's goalkeeper Etien Dvornik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jurček Bogdanović. Etien Dvornik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Egidij Ciglar's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Halil Koletič kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Jurček Bogdanović scored 2-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Etien Dvornik, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Žiri's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Egidij Ciglar scored to the left of an out of position Etien Dvornik, making the score, 3-1. After some careless play in the Žiri defense, Jurček Bogdanović kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Etien Dvornik. The Žiri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Etien Dvornik should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Egidij Ciglar was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Egidij Ciglar made a precise shot to the right of Etien Dvornik. Žiri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Etien Dvornik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jurček Bogdanović, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Zekirja Praprotnik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Riko Pohlin went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. Zekirja Praprotnik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitrij Lipovšek in the 65th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Daniele Feuš hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dimitrij Lipovšek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mihajlo Mikiša kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After 82 played minutes Novo mesto MNK got a freekick which was hit by Jurček Bogdanović. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurček Bogdanović in the 83rd minute of play forced Žiri's goalkeeper Etien Dvornik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 87 played minutes Novo mesto MNK got a freekick which was hit by Ardenko Glušič. If Riko Pohlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Jurček Bogdanović ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Etien Dvornik was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2.
