A hard shot 5 in the game by Daš Bobnar from a close distance when the talented Tine Donkov managed to make a qualified save. Å entjernej MNK's players were relieved. Džon Dobravc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janos Por, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eldin Å pernjak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Džon Dobravc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Džon Dobravc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eldin Å pernjak in the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eldin Å pernjak in the 12th minute of play forced Celje Crowns's goalkeeper Džon Dobravc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daš Bobnar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Daš Bobnar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th match minute, Å entjernej MNK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roggers Elikan to maneuver through the defense. Dražan Ferizović, 37 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Džon Dobravc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eldin Å pernjak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Janos Por came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Å entjernej MNK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Janos Por couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Janos Por in the 49th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Džon Dobravc saved Celje Crowns from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Alfons Grm made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eldin Å pernjak in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Džon Dobravc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfons Grm in the 60th minute of play forced Å entjernej MNK's goalkeeper Tine Donkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eldin Å pernjak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Gojmir Kosednar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Janos Por received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Džon Dobravc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Celje Crowns's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eldin Å pernjak fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Džon Dobravc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eldin Å pernjak in the 75th minute of play. Tine Donkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daš Bobnar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Eldin Å pernjak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Džon Dobravc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Å entjernej MNK. After a rather tough play, Celje Crowns's Aljoša Rutnik got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Janos Por sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Celje Crowns's Džon Dobravc got control of the ball when Janos Por tried to sneak it across the goal line. Celje Crowns's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
