If Vane Poteko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emir Hmelak hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute Emir Hmelak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ante Tepe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albin Kolar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Negovan Mihić skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Albin Kolar had several of the Metlika's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 19 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Negovan Mihić as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a defensive mix-up in Metlika's zone, Vane Poteko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Negovan Mihić came out of the goal and Vane Poteko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albin Kolars short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Negovan Mihić to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hilarij Špegel hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Žiga Modic recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ante Tepe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenan Peternelj in the 32nd minute of play. Luban Bavčar hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. When Vane Poteko came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Tabor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vane Poteko couldn't finish the play. Emir Hmelak scored 1-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ante Tepe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 43 minutes into the match, Kenan Peternelj had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ante Tepe. Tabor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kenan Peternelj was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Ante Tepe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emir Hmelak, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Emir Hmelak made the kick off in the second half. When Tabor's Albin Kolar in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Metlika's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albin Kolar in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Negovan Mihić saved Metlika from getting behind. 62 minutes into the match, Metlika's Kenan Peternelj sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ante Tepe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luban Bavčar hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Kenan Peternelj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ante Tepe having to interfere. With a little luck, Tabor's Ante Tepe got control of the ball when Kenan Peternelj tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vane Poteko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Negovan Mihić having to interfere.
