Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vojimir Žvirc kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Šmarje pri Jelšah ND's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Lukić came free, but Zemri Pečar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Paščinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Zemri Pečar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zemri Pečar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Paščinski in the 14th minute of the match. Jugoslav Zaponšek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ismail Smole tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Arne Lukić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zemri Pečar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute Christian Paščinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zemri Pečar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Paščinski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zemri Pečar having to interfere. A collision led to Šmarje pri Jelšah ND getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Hilarij Franjčić hit a great ball. Arne Lukić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Zemri Pečar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stanislav Komatar during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Šmarje pri Jelšah ND's Stanislav Komatar got a free kick in the 34th minute. Vransko ND's Jerko Dobnik couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 35th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Šmarje pri Jelšah ND. Zemri Pečar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Lukić in the 37th minute of play. Ismail Smole was a little too slow when Vojimir Žvirc got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 47th minute, Dragi Bratož hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arne Lukić to strike the kick off in the second half. Vransko ND's Ismail Smole played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vojimir Žvirc in the 53rd minute of play. After 54 played minutes Vransko ND got a freekick which was hit by Dragi Bratož. 54 minutes into the match, Vransko ND's goal looked a bit too open when Vojimir Žvirc came free, but Ismail Smole reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osman Kosec hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute Vransko ND were awarded a corner. Jerko Dobnik went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Jerko Dobnik got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zemri Pečar quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Vransko ND's Arne Lukić got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christian Paščinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Zemri Pečar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Paščinski struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Zemri Pečar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vransko ND. Šmarje pri Jelšah ND's Zemri Pečar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arne Lukić in the 71st minute of play. Christian Paščinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Christian Paščinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Zemri Pečar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vransko ND's goalkeeper Ismail Smole, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 78 minutes into the game, Šmarje pri Jelšah ND's Jugoslav Zaponšek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ismail Smole made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 83 minutes into the match, Šmarje pri Jelšah ND's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Lukić came free, but Zemri Pečar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jugoslav Zaponšek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vojimir Žvirc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ismail Smole tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Vojimir Žvirc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Šmarje pri Jelšah ND's supporters rose to their feet, but Vojimir Žvirc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismail Smole breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vojimir Žvirc might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ismail Smole. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vojimir Žvirc ran back to his position shaking his head. Vransko ND's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
