Juraj Drolc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hasan Vasič having to interfere. Erih Čonda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without NebojÅ¡a BorÅ¡tner having to interfere. Zoran Mrhar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but NebojÅ¡a BorÅ¡tner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. When Erih Čonda came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Osilnica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erih Čonda couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rahman Rojnik in the 28th minute of play forced Osilnica's goalkeeper Hasan Vasič to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Velimir Jodl kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. When Zoran Mrhar came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Osilnica fans jumped to their feet. In the 36th minute, Duplek NK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Zoran Mrhar fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Erih Čonda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. NebojÅ¡a BorÅ¡tner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zoran Mrhar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of NebojÅ¡a BorÅ¡tner when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zoran Mrhar got free with NebojÅ¡a BorÅ¡tner in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Duplek NK's NebojÅ¡a BorÅ¡tner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erih Čonda in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erih Čonda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Osilnica's Erih Čonda got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ignac Niculović hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Velimir Jodl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Iztok Å oÅ¡kić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Duplek NK's Iztok Å oÅ¡kić got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Duplek NK fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Duplek NK's Dražen Terdič looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Marino Hižak hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Hasan Vasič was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Advan Lesjak.
